Staying Positive

It's sometimes hard to stay positive when it feels like your life is drowning in societal pressures, work stress and keeping up with people. Society today is manipulated by the media, telling us how we should look, feel and act. However, we are not all the same. We are all different, have different values and beliefs, and we are all come from different backgrounds. Everyone has their own way of dealing with or approaching issues. Something that is right for me, may not be right for you. It is important to remember that it's okay, in fact, it what makes this world beautiful that we are all different. All images in this post I found of google, and shared them on my Instagram @findyourownhope.

Let's be real, life's a bit of a bitch. Health, happiness, love and friendship don't come easy but are worth the effort 💛👭

There are many different types of stress we deal with, emotional, societal, family, work, study and the list could go on forever. However it is important to deal with stress, don't ignore it. Usually the only way to conquer stress is to face it! This may mean taking small steps to achieve the goal. It is vital to take the small-medium steps, do not go head first as this can jeopardise your health and motivation. For example, if your goal is to get fit and eat healthy maybe cut out a few unhealthy habits and swap them for healthy ones. It is best to have small goals/rewards to work towards the big picture. Rather then go for the big picture straight away and fail, then lose all motivation.

It is hard not to wonder about how things might have been different, and we can focus on the past. However, the past is the past and cannot be changed, but we can use it to learn from experiences and shape who we become. Remember to stay strong and hope for good times ahead.

I find it helpful to remember that you are not alone! There are other out there suffering. One power of the internet is bringing people together. I struggled dealing with my illness as people in my life (family and friends) did not understand what I was going through, and it was hard to explain and keep up with people. Sometimes it is just nice to know you're not alone, so I've found people like me on Instagram.  This has helped me, as we all understand and send messages of support to one another. If you are looking for a friend just message me or follow me on my social media accounts :)

I feel this on a spiritual level guys 💕 when people ask your hobbies, like um food and pjs. At this time I am just focusing on improving my health!
