This is my current set up :)

As I shared with you in my last post - Part One of this series (here :)) I  recently realised that I did not use even half of my make up as I stashed it away in cases, draws and different rooms. So I decided to share how I managed this problem and re-organised my make up system.



I started the process by shopping my stash and going through everything! I threw out what was old and gave away what I no longer wanted.  I also created a new system that allows me to get the most use out of my make up - Also I have included my fave products from each section :)

Part One focused on lip products, eyeliners/mascaras and face products. This post, Part 2, will include foundations, eyeshaows and brushes.

As I have acne-prone skin I don't wear a liquid foundation on a daily basis, so the two powders I use are the Clinique Almost Powder Make up in 03 and the Rimmel Stay Matte powder on 06. The Clinique powder is my base and is the perfect colour match for my skin! It is also great because it isn't exactly a loose powder which means it provides more coverage. I use this compact in conjunction with the Rimmel powder to make the look last longer and stay matte.

However, on special occasions I use the Clinique Super Primer for Colour Correction (review of this product here: http://beautybalmer.blogspot.com.au/2013/12/review-clinique-superprimer-for-colour.html ), the Clinique Stay-Matte, Oil Free Foundation and the Estee Lauder Concealer in Light Medium. I love this combination and all these products work fantastically with my oily skin  :)

I have lots of eyeshadows and couldn't show them all, so I thought I'd share just some of my favourites, and I have also included a blush/bronzer combo too :P From left to right: Laura Mercier Pink Bronze Bronzing Duo, Laura Mercier eyeshaodow trio - cant find the name :(, Essence Quattro in Over the Taupe, Chi Chi Nudes Palette, Estee Lauder Sensational effects Eyeshadow ( the four colours are: Diligree, Wif, Couture, Fashion Show) and the Australis Paparazi Perfect in A-lister Sista. I love all these products :) they are gorgeous!

Storage Tip: Here is my draw where I keep extra lipsticks (holder from Priceline), my most loved palettes (the smaller ones go in the pink and yellow boxes - I don't know where I got them) and I keep samples/foundations mainly in the white tin at the back from the Reject Shop.

Lastly, brushes! I have a few roll up sets but I keep my most used and loved brushes in this holder from Daiso.

My fave brushes are: Real Techniques Buffing Brush (I use for liquid foundation) and the Stippling Brush (I use for blush), Australis brushes in - Mineral Eyeshadow contouring Brush and Eyeshadow Brush.

Its been a while, sorry I have been so busy! But today I'm reviewing one of my fave products of the year so far, the Australis Powder Liner! One of the best things about it is that you don't have to be good at eyeliner to pull of a great look.

Product + Usage: 10/10

This product is amazing, its perfect for dressing up or everyday wear! I use it non-stop, it has literally become a staple of mine over the past few months! The possibilities for styling this product endless  - whether you smoke it out or have a softer eyeliner look. The eyeliner itself is a powder formula, which sounds strange but it truly works on my oily eyes.

Application + Longevity: 8/10

The application of this product is soooo easy! The great thing about it is that you can mess the eyeliner up and it still looks great, because of the easy manipulation the powder product allows you to have. Plus the applicator is great for this type of product and it is extremely easy to use.

The only down side to this product is that there is not enough product in the bottle! because I use it so much hahaha. I am on my second bottle of it so far, and I cannot get enough!

Price: 8/10

Its not pricy, depending where you purchase it from it ranges $11-$14. I totally think its worth the cost!

I'm so excited to share with you my favourite products for August as I have been trying some new stuff! I have a range of beauty and body products to share with you, so please keep reading :)

Beauty Products

1. The Body Shop: Born Lippy Lip Balm

Since being in winter my lips have been dry and chapped, so I have been searching for a new   lip product and so happy I have now found it! I have the raspberry flavour/colour and its such a pretty colour which simply enhances my natural lips. It is available from Body Shop stores for $AU 8.95. I totally recommend it!





2. Clinique Stay Matte Foundation

I have combination/oily skin which is also acne prone and could never ever find the perfect formulation to keep my face from looking shiny.. until now. This foundation is gorgeously smooth and easy to blend, it have buildable coverage I usually only apply one layer for everyday wear and that's equivalent to medium coverage. However I have worn two layers when going out for a special occasion and it make my skin look absolutely flawless - and its totally not! I purchased mine from Myer for $AU50.00, I love this foundation and definitely recommend it to problem prone and oily skin.


3. Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer

I saw these raved about all over the blogger and youtube beauty community and just had to try them! I purchased the shade Nova and its the most beautiful pink colour I love wearing it with my Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick in shade 103.  The have a reasonable lasting power and are very pigmented and glossy. They retail for $AU15.95 at Priceline, however I got mine in the introductory sale - Priceline currently have a 2 for 3 sale at the moment.

Body Products

4. The Body Shop:  Strawberry Body Puree

When I found this body cream I was so excited, because its light and smells delicious. Unlike the Body Shop body butters this cream immediately absorbs into the skin and has a handy pump. During the winter months I have been using it non-stop! I purchased mine from The Body Shop for $AU21.95, although its kind of expensive its a great product that lasts quite a long time.

5. Magazines

This month I've been trying out heaps of new mags and have been loving SHOP til' you drop and Harpaer's Bazaar. These two mags are great to just flick through and look at nice pictures haha.
I love to put my scented candle on, listen to music and relaxingly read my magazines. Great way to unwind!

Hey Guys,

So over the past few weeks I have been lovin' the Revlon Kissable Lips Balm Stains! Although in Australia we do not have the full range of colours, we still have quite a few.

Lets start with; they are super duper moisturing and do not dry my lips out like some other balms and lipsticks. What many people do not realise is that once applying the stain you must wait for it to set/dry or else it will transfer (i.e. defeating the kissable lips aspect). So give it a chance :P!




I purchased 3 different shades (although rather similar colours), they are Lovesick, Cherish and Sweetheart. My fave is Lovesick, because of the amazing colour pay off and also the deepness of this colour makes it longest lasting one that I own out of the three. Sweetheart has a warmer summer-y feel for me and i <3 it! However, the Cherish Lip Stain has least colour requiring many coats and does not last to long (although my lips are naturally a very pinky/red).
